GARDEN GROVE, Calif. — Officials say they removed thousands of pounds of drugs from a suspected drug lab last week in Garden Grove, California.
The FBI conducted search warrants on suspected drug labs in the Southern California area over the last week, including one in Orange County that federal agents said was one of largest operations they have ever seen, the Los Angeles Times reported.
FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller told The Orange County Register that the raid happened at a house Tuesday and along with the seized drugs, ingredients for pill production and pills that were ready to be delivered were also found at the house.
Eimiller said about 4,000 pounds of illegal drugs were removed from the house, according to The Register.
“We sent in teams from multiple agencies who have expertise in drug labs, and they said this was one of the biggest drug labs they’d ever seen,” Eimiller said, according to the newspaper.
