Paul Grant, an actor who appeared as an Ewok in a “Star Wars” movie and a goblin in a “Harry Potter” film, died Monday after he collapsed outside a train station.
Grant was found outside King’s Cross station in north London on Thursday afternoon, according to The Guardian.
He was pronounced dead at 3.49 a.m. Monday but had been declared brain dead before that following his collapse, Sky News reported.
In addition to his work in “Harry Potter” and “Star Wars,” Grant, 56, also played one of the Goblin Corps in the 1986 classic “Labyrinth.”
Grant also had roles in “Legend,” and “Willow.”
Sophie Jayne Grant, Grant’s daughter, confirmed his death to Sky News.
She said: “I’m heartbroken … No girl deserves their dad to be taken away … He was so well known and loved [for his work]. He’s gone too soon.”
Grant is survived by his girlfriend Maria Dwyer, his two daughters and one son, as well as his stepchildren and grandchildren.
