WARREN, Ohio — An Ohio woman is facing child endangerment charges after police say she kicked her teenage children out of the house during a snowstorm.
Police told WKBN they were called to Eva Harris’ home for a fight, in which allegedly Harris told her 17-year-old daughter to leave after pouring a drink on her. Police said they found the teenage girl outside wearing a thin jacket and carrying a trash bag full of belongings, WKBN reported.
Police said the teenager was crying and repeated, “I have nowhere to go,” while walking through 18 inches of snow, Tribune Today reported.
When police talked to the teenager at the station, they said she told them that Harris had also kicked her out her 16-year-old son. Officers found him locked out on the front porch, wearing a jacket, sweatshirt, and also with a trash bag full of his belongings, Tribune Today reported.
Police contacted Children Services and charged Harris with endangering children, after they were unable to get her to answer the door, WKBN reported.
Harris pleaded not guilty to the charges, WKBN reported.
