MONTECITO, Calif. — A photographer and friend of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has shared a new photo of the family after the couple announced the sex of their second child, who is due this summer.
According to USA Today and People magazine, Misan Harriman took to Instagram on Monday to share the image, which features Harry embracing a pregnant Meghan as she holds their toddler son, Archie.
“What wonderful news to celebrate on International Women’s Day!” Harriman captioned the photo. “Congratulations my friends, and welcome to the #girldad club H.”
This isn’t the first time Harriman has posted a photo of the family. Last month when Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, first announced the pregnancy news, Harriman shared an image of the couple from a recent maternity shoot.
“Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow,” Harriman wrote at the time. “Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!”
The gender reveal came Sunday as the royal couple’s highly anticipated, prerecorded interview with Oprah Winfrey aired in the United States. Winfrey’s question about whether the baby-to-be was a boy or a girl sparked a playful exchange between the pair.
“You can tell her,” Meghan told Harry.
“No, you can tell her,” he replied, to which Meghan responded, “No, no.”
“It’s a girl,” Harry said, smiling.
He added: “To have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for? But now we’ve got our family. We’ve got the four of us and our two dogs.”

In the two-hour special, Harry and Meghan, formerly known as Meghan Markle, also opened up about the difficulties that led to their decision to step back as senior members of the royal family and move to California. The pair spoke about racism, feeling “trapped,” the British tabloids and the mental health challenges – including suicidal thoughts – that Meghan faced as a result.
