WASHINGTON — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a recall in one of Sunshine Mills Nature’s Menu dog food because of possible salmonella risk.
Nature’s Menu Super Premium Dog Food with a Blend of Real Chicken & Quail was selected for the voluntary recall because of the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. The recall noted that it can not only affect animals but that there is also a risk to humans from handling the food.
The recalled products were distributed in retail stores nationally and can be identified with the following UPC 7015514363 and UPC 7015514365.
The product comes in a 3-pound bag with the following lot codes:

So far, no illnesses, injuries or complaints have been reported to date, according to the FDA.
