Luxury electric car manufacturer Tesla has issued a recall of some 2020 Model Y vehicles.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the recall, saying that about 2,567 vehicles with a global rear lamp and tow package configuration could have a software error that will not allow the trailer brake lights to turn on.
Tesla is notifying owners and has issued a firmware update over-the-air to vehicles as of Sept. 23.
Owners can call Tesla if they have any questions at 1-605-882-4000.
The recall number is SB-20-00-002.
