Soon you’ll be able to sit back, relax and see a new movie on the big screen.
Regal has announced that its multiplexes will start reopening July 10.
There will be steps to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Some of the changes include contactless payment and more use of the Regal app. The company said not only will theatergoers be able to buy their tickets on their mobile devices, but they will also be able to buy concession items, but the menu will be reduced. There will also be no refills for drinks or popcorn.
The theaters themselves will also go through rigorous cleaning after every movie. Employees will be using an electrostatic fogger machine to disinfect each theater.
Employees will encourage social distancing and will, along with guests, be required to wear masks in accordance with local rules.
Theater capacity may be reduced to 50% and there will be two empty seats between groups.
