LOS ANGELES — Two days after her husband took the stage at the 94th Annual Academy Awards and hit comedian Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith is offering her first public comment on the situation.
In an Instagram post, Pinkett Smith posted a simple text image saying, “This is a season for healing and I’m here for it.”
At Sunday’s award show, comedian Chris Rock made a joke about Pinkett Smith’s hair, prompting her husband, Will Smith, to go on stage and hit Rock, before coming back to his seat and yelling at the comedian.
