‘Several bags’ of human remains found on Seattle beach

SEATTLE — Several bags containing human remains were found Friday on a Seattle beach, investigators said.

Police were called to investigate a suspicious bag on the beach when they found another bag in the water, authorities said.

It is unclear whether the remains are male or female, KIRO-TV reported.

Detectives are working with the King County Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the remains.
