LOS ANGELES — ‘Tis the season for giving, and Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt is feeling the spirit.
The A-list actor was spotted in South Central Los Angeles one week ago, distributing groceries to low-income families, People and Vanity Fair reported.

Dressed in a white T-shirt, jeans, a flannel shirt and a face mask, Pitt, 56, reportedly greeted people waiting in line for the sundries but declined to grant an interview, choosing to keep the focus on the community and its needs, People reported.
The blue surgical mask he wore appeared effective at shielding Pitt from fans, but his friend, British artist Thomas Houseago, dropped by at one point and hugged the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star before lending a hand himself, Vanity Fair reported.
Of course, Pitt is no stranger to giving back, People reported, noting he joined Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea in distributing food boxes to struggling families in Watts earlier in the novel coronavirus pandemic, and the “Fight Club” and “Ocean’s Eleven” actor’s philanthropic exploits following Hurricane Katrina in 2005 drew widespread attention. He also appeared in “United We Sing: A GRAMMY Tribute to the Unsung Heroes,” Harry Connick Jr.’s CBS special in June, “surprising essential workers virtually for their continued work amid the coronavirus pandemic,” People reported.
