SUMTER, S.C. — Could it be ham-to-go? Police officers in South Carolina are seeking the public’s help in looking for a pig that has been destroying property in a neighborhood.
Sumter Police Department reached out to the local community in trying to track down a large pig that has been “wreaking havoc,” The Associated Press reported.
Police are not sure if the pig in question was a pet or a swine that escaped a worse fate.
They said that it’s “large, pink and elusive” and are warning anyone who sees the animal, not to approach it because of its size.

Police have even called in experts from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources to help track down the runaway hog, the AP reported.
