UVALDE, Texas — Irma Garcia was a teacher at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, who was killed earlier this week when a gunman opened fire, killing 19 young children and two teachers.

Garcia’s family is now dealing with another death.

They had been married for 24 years.
A nephew posted to Twitter said Joe Garica “passed away due to grief,” KSAT reported.
The couple leaves behind four children.

A GoFundMe campaign started by Irma Garcia’s cousin Debra Austin, said, “I truly believe Joe died of a broken heart and losing the love of his life of more than 30 years was too much to bear.”
