LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — A small plane made an emergency landing Tuesday on a busy freeway in Missouri after the pilot experienced engine problems.
The 1956 Twin Bonanza was forced to land on Interstate 470 in Lee’s Summit in suburban Kansas City.
Nate Frazier captured video from the freeway as the plane landed between several cars.

The pilot was the only one aboard and was not injured when the plane landed, but the plane hit a few signs.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said on Twitter that the pilot was making his final approach to the Lee’s Summit airport when the engine failed.
