MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police arrested a woman accused of firing shots on Christmas Day inside a home in Memphis’ Westwood neighborhood.
According to a police affidavit, Sharell Milton entered a home in the 4300 block of Hawkeye and fired six shots. When officers arrived, they said they found a man who had been shot in his right arm.
The man told police he and a woman were inside the home when his wife, Milton came in and fired at least six shots at them, then took off.
The woman inside the home told police she was the man’s girlfriend, authorities said. She said she was also inside the house when the shots were fired.
Both identified Milton as the shooter.
Milton turned herself in a short time later, and was charged with aggravated assault/domestic violence and aggravated assault.
She is set to face a judge Friday morning.
