LAS VEGAS — A woman was arrested at Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport after police said she caused disturbances in the airport and on a plane.
Katrina Alspaugh is charged with violating airport rules, KLAS reported.
Police said Alspaugh was at a security checkpoint when another passenger confronted her for not wearing a mask, KVVU reported. Alspaugh is accused of trying to assault that passenger, who declined to press charges.
Police said they were called by Allegiant Air to remove Alspaugh from the plane after flight attendants said she was causing a disturbance. When officers tried to remove her, they said she began yelling obscenities.
Federal law requires all passengers on airplanes within the United States to wear a face mask, except when actively eating or drinking.
