ATLANTA,None — Art Rogers, director of programming for Channel 2 WSB-TV, announced a total programming switch on the station's second tier digital channel 2.2 taking place June 1, 2011.
"We've joined forces with Me-TV (Memorable Entertainment Television), the new digital classic television network from Weigel Broadcasting Co. that is distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM)," said Rogers.
"Me-TV upgrades our lineup with some of the most popular programs ever to run in prime time television," Rogers added.
"These great shows fall in line perfectly with our efforts to give north Georgia parents the opportunity to share the great programs from the past with their family," said Bill Hoffman, vice president and general manager for Channel 2.
"When our friends at Weigel and MGM offered the network to us, we knew it was a great fit for our digital channel," Hoffman said.

Me-TV's library includes M*A*S*H, Perry Mason, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Bob Newhart Show, the original Star Trek and Hawaii Five-O in addition to 60 other programs.
The shows come from the libraries of Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, CBS Television Distribution, as well as independent series owners and producers.
