ATLANTA — The NBA said it is suspending the rest of the season in response to the coronavirus concerns.
The league announced that no games will played until further notice after Wednesday night’s game. The move comes after two Utah Jazz players tested positive for COVID-19.
“The NBA will use this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic,” the NBA said in a statement.
NBA has suspended the season.

Statement:
The NBA is suspending game play following the conclusion of tonight’s schedule of games until further notice. The NBA will use this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic.
Channel 2 Action News has reached out to the Atlanta Hawks regarding tickets already sold for suspended games.
The NBA along with NHL and MLB closed access to locker rooms and clubhouses to all nonessential personnel including media earlier this week.
On Thursday, Atlanta United and Major League Soccer announced they were suspending games over coronavirus concerns.
