ATLANTA — Channel 2 WSB-TV announced that it will air NFL “Monday Night Football” on Nov. 20 when the Atlanta Falcons play the Seattle Seahawks.
At 8 p.m., Channel 2’s “Sports Zone” pregame coverage leads off with Jovita Moore, Justin Farmer and Zach Klein breaking down the prime-time match-up. Klein will report live from CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
The prime-time game coverage will pre-empt ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” and “The Good Doctor.”
“We apologize to the dedicated fans of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ for the interruption of the show’s final competition,” said Tim McVay, Vice President and General Manager for Channel 2. “We bid on the ESPN package two years ago and had no idea at that time which nights in the 2017 season, if any, would be awarded to Channel 2. It’s very unfortunate that one of our two games this year falls on the finale of ‘DWTS.’”
Channel 2 will broadcast the two-hour "Dancing with the Stars" overnight at 2 a.m. on Nov. 21. Viewers have until 11 a.m. Tuesday morning to vote on ABC.com or Facebook for their choice to win The Mirror Ball Trophy. CLICK HERE for more information on voting.
“The Good Doctor,” which normally airs Mondays at 10 p.m., will run at 2:05 a.m. on Nov. 22.
