ATLANTA — The Georgia Bulldogs regular season is officially over.

The football team will not get to play this weekend because of cases of COVID-19 on the Vanderbilt football team, and a game that was postponed earlier this season is now officially canceled.

The Vanderbilt game was first scheduled for Saturday Dec. 5 at 4 p.m in Athens. The SEC moved the game to Dec. 19.

However, lingering cases of COVID-19 has forced the league to cancel the game for good. Georgia will not play again until their bowl game.
