Bennett led Georgia to its first national championship since 1980 and won the offensive most valuable player. The fifth-year senior finished with 2,862 yards and 29 touchdowns with only seven interceptions on the year.
Bennett’s return marks a rare sixth year of eligibility. Daniels will be eligible to play in 2022 as a graduate transfer.
It is unknown at this time where Daniels will end up. Wide receiver Jermaine Burton also entered the transfer portal, according to his Instagram page.
