ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia running back Trevor Etienne has announced his time in Athens is over as he is taking the next step by entering the 2025 NFL Draft.
Etienne posted his statement via Instagram where he acknowledged his journey that allowed him the opportunity to play at both Florida and UGA.

The running back transfer from Florida finished his lone season with the Bulldogs rushing for just over 600 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
A rib injury suffered against his former team hampered his production as he saw limited snaps against Ole Miss and missed the Tennessee game back in November.

While the season did not end the way he might’ve hoped, Etienne thanked Coach Kirby Smart and the UGA coaching staff for their impact they made on his life.
The Bulldogs finished the season with an 11-3 record with a loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the College Football Playoff Sugar Bowl.
“This past year has been an incredible journey,” he wrote. “It means the world to me that you trusted in me and gave me an opportunity to provide immediate impact. Your culture of excellence has left a lasting impact on me and I am forever better for my time in Red and Black. My experience as a DAWG was nothing short of amazing.”
Etienne is projected as a mid to late round pick and if you’re familiar with the last name, he is the younger brother of Jaguars running back, Travis Etienne.
