ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons revealed new details about how season-ticket holders will be able to attend games during the 2020 season.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium can hold over 70,000 fans, but the team expects to have a seating capacity of 10,000 to 20,000 during the first four games of the season.
Masks will also be mandatory with social distancing measures in place.
An email will be sent to season ticket holders Wednesday with a survey asking what games they’d like to attend this season. They will have until July 31 to complete this survey.
The team said it will hold a lottery style drawing for those ticket holders based on the survey. Fans aren’t guaranteed to buy their exact seat locations, but they will have access to seats in their same price point.
Another drawing is expected to happen in October for the final four home games of the regular season. A list of frequently asked questions can be found here.
