COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Just short of two months before the end of the 2021 Atlanta Braves regular season, the team, along with Major League Baseball, have released the schedule for 2022.
And just like this season, the Braves will be starting the regular season on the road.
March 31, 2022 will be the first game for Atlanta. They’ll be in Miami to square off with the Marlins for four games.

From there, they head to New York to play the Mets all before they get to have a home opener.
The date for the opener will be Thursday April 7, when the Braves will host the Cincinnati Reds for a four game series at Truist Park. They’ll follow that with a three game series vs. Washington.
The Braves will have big weekend matchups with the San Diego Padres May 13-15 and host the Dodgers June 24-26.

The interleague schedule for 2022 brings the Red Sox to Atlanta on May 10-11 and a trip out west for series against Oakland June 7-8 and the Los Angeles Angels July 22-24. The Braves will also play Houston, Texas and Seattle during interleague play.
The end of the season will be a grind as the Braves play 15 of their last 24 games on the road but the season will come to a close with a three game series vs. the Mets at Truist.

If you keep track of such things, the Braves will have 13 games at home in April, 15 in May, 13 in June, 16 in July, 11 in August and 13 in Sept./Oct.
Some 51 games will be played at home before the All-Star break, only 30 will be at the friendly confines of Truist Park after the break.
