ATLANTA — The summer of 2021 hasn’t quite come to a close, but the Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball have already announced the Spring Training schedule for 2022.

The National League East leading Braves will kick off Spring Training on Saturday, Feb. 26 at their facility in North Port, FL. against the Boston Red Sox.
The Braves will play 32 Spring Training games, 16 of them at CoolToday Park. 11 different teams will make the trip to southwest Florida including two games with Baltimore, Boston, Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay.
The preseason will wrap up on March 28 and 29 with a home-and-home series vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates and they’ll stay in Florida to kick off the regular season in Miami March 31.

The Braves currently sit atop the National League East with a 64-56 record. They are 2 1/2 games ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies with 42 games left in the regular season.
The last day of the 2021 regular season is Oct. 2 with the playoffs starting two days later.
