The Braves have not said when they think Game 2 will start. — The Braves will play the Philadelphia Phillies in NLDS Game 2 at 7:30 after a rain delay Wednesday afternoon.
The Braves were initially scheduled to face the Philadelphia Phillies at 4:35 p.m.
Weather update: There will be another weather call around 6 p.m., but current forecasts suggest starting the game around 7:30-7:45. We will continue to update as we hear!

40,000 plus fans expected to be in attendance for the game, which Atlanta enters trailing the Phillies in their best-of-five series 1-0.

According to Severe Weather Team 2′s Brad Nitz, there is a risk of severe weather for parts of the metro area Thursday afternoon and Thursday night.

Channel 2 Sports Director Zach Klein and Sports Anchor Alison Mastrangelo are at the stadium and will be monitoring the progress towards the first pitch.
The Braves did say they expect the game to be played and they are sticking to the plan of opening the gates to Truist Park at 3 p.m. and they are offering fans a 50% discount on concession items until first pitch.
For fans with tickets to today’s game, gates will open at 3 p.m. and all food and non-alcoholic beverages will be discounted 50% until first pitch.

Wednesday’s game is crucial for the Braves who find themselves trailing in the series. 20-game winner Kyle Wright is scheduled to take the mound for Atlanta, while Marietta native Zach Wheeler will start the game for the Phillies.
