Atlanta — Channel 2 Sports Director Zach Klein reported Wednesday that the Atlanta Hawks completed a blockbuster trade with the San Antonio Spurs for All-Star guard, Dejounte Murray.
Murray had the best season of his career last season with the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 21.1 points per game and 9.2 assists, making his first all-star appearance.
In the trade, the Hawks will send Danilo Gallinari and three first-round picks to the Spurs, including their own in 2025 and 2027, and a Charlotte Hornets first-rounder in next year’s draft. San Antonio also gets the option to swap first-round picks with the Hawks in 2026.
