ATLANTA — Falcons, Dawgs and Braves, oh my! From rivalry games to MLB playoffs, this weekend is shaping up to be one of the biggest sports weekends for Georgia sport fans.

It all starts Friday with the Braves taking on the Brewers in the National League Division Series and concludes with the Falcons playing in London Sunday.

From Auburn to London to Milwaukee, we’ll have LIVE Team 2 coverage throughout the weekend on Channel 2 Action News.

Here is a rundown of how you can catch Georgia sporting events throughout the weekend.

Falcons vs Jets in London

Channel 2 will air the Atlanta Falcons game Sunday as they play the New York Jets in London.

Kickoff is set for 9:30 a.m. eastern time. Channel 2 Sports Director Zach Klein will bring you all the excitement LIVE from London with a Falcons pre-game special starting at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

A Falcons postgame special will air following the game to break down the game’s biggest plays.

The Falcons officially touched down in London early Friday morning. Calvin Ridley did not make the trip to London due to a personal matter. Wide receiver Russell Gage and defensive tackle Marlon Davidson are out with ankle injuries.

Braves vs. Brewers

The National League Division Series between the Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers begins Friday. Game 1 is scheduled for 4:37 p.m. on TBS and Game 2 is scheduled for 5:07 p.m. also on TBS.

Atlanta claimed the NL East title for the fourth straight season. The Brewers finished as the NL Central champions and are making their fourth straight postseason.

Freddie Freeman and the Braves’ power hitters look to chase Brewers pitchers Corbin Burnes and Brandon Woodruff out of the games early. Atlanta has three of the NL’s top four RBI producers in Adam Duvall (113), Austin Riley (107) and Ozzie Albies (106).

Channel 2′s Chris Jose is in Milwaukee for both games. Follow Jose for live updates throughout the weekend. The series will shift to Truist Park for Game 3 Monday and if necessary Game 4 on Tuesday.

College Football Saturday

No. 2 Georgia (5-0) at No. 18 Auburn (4-1), 3:30 p.m.

An all-new Bulldogs GameDay airs Saturday at 11 a.m. to preview No. 2 Georgia vs No. 18 Auburn.

Channel 2′s Alison Mastrangelo and Heather Catlin will have interviews with Kirby Smart and Bulldogs analysts Aaron Murray and Thomas Davis. Follow Mastrangelo for live updates in Auburn on Saturday.

The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry hasn’t been much of a rivalry lately. Georgia has won 16 of the last 20 meetings with Auburn. The Dawgs are the heavy favorite on the Plains this Saturday again.

The biggest question though is UGA’s quarterback situation. J.T. Daniels is still nursing a muscle injury and has not been able to throw the ball. Stetson Bennett IV started against Arkansas and is ready to go if Coach Kirby Smart calls on him.

Georgia Tech (2-3) at Duke (3-2), 12:30 p.m. Bally Sports

Georgia Tech is looking to bounce back this week after a 52-21 home loss to Pittsburgh. Duke meanwhile is coming off a 38-7 loss to rival North Carolina.

The Yellow Jackets have had an inconsistent season so far but a conference win over the Blue Devils could put them back on the right track.

“The performance our team put together against North Carolina … we just didn’t show that on Saturday,” head coach Geoff Collins said. “They had a good week of prep but just some adversity set in very early in the game, and uncharacteristically, we didn’t respond to that challenge.”
