UGA’s QB Jake Fromm announces he’s going pro

ATHENS — UGA quarterback Jake Fromm has declared for the NFL draft.

Fromm tweeted the announcement Wednesday afternoon.

Fromm thanked the University of Georgia, Coach Kirby Smart, the coaches, his teammates and his fans for sticking with him “through the good times and the bad.”

Fromm said it was his lifelong dream to play in the NFL.

He ended his message saying “Go Dawgs and God bless.”

Georgia offensive lineman Solomon Kindley announced last week that he will declare for the NFL draft.

Kindley, a 6-4, 330-pound junior from Jacksonville, announced his intentions via his Instagram account on Tuesday. He thanked Georgia’s fans, former offensive line coach Sam Pittman for recruiting him and the strength and training staff’s for developing him and keeping him healthy.

“With that being said and after discussing it with my family, I’ll be forgoing my senior season and will enter the NFL Draft,” Kindley wrote.
