Channel 2 Action News and ABC News will have special coverage on Tuesday, Jan. 7 for former President Jimmy Carter’s state funeral events in Washington D.C.
ABC News will have a network special report starting at 2:15 p.m. ET when the plane carrying Carter’s remains is expected to arrive at Joint Base Andrews. The ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda will begin at 4:30 and is scheduled to run about 45 minutes.
As a result, Tuesday’s originally scheduled episode of “General Hospital” will be moved to Wednesday, January 8, 2025, and an encore episode will air tomorrow in its place before the ABC News special report.
