ATLANTA — A strong cold front is currently brining light rain to metro Atlanta but the risk for isolated strong or severe storms remains.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz says there is a Level 2 out of 5 risk for all of metro Atlanta and north Georgia, especially in the northwest counties.
Nitz said isolated tornadoes can’t be ruled out with this system.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Heavy rain and gusty winds are the main threats.
- Brief, isolated tornadoes can’t be ruled out.
- On and off rain in forecast for rest of the week.
