After a few days of warm temperatures, the cold air returns to north Georgia on Friday.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says a strong cold front will move through north Georgia this morning, bringing falling temperatures to the area this afternoon.
We’re tracking how much temperatures will drop in your neighborhood, LIVE on Channel 2 Action News.
After highs in the mid 50s around midday, temperatures will fall into the 40s during the afternoon.
Monahan also says it will be windy today, with gusts up to 30 mph possible across metro Atlanta.
The good news though if you’re starting your holiday travel this weekend: We’ll stay dry.
