ATLANTA — Several inches of rain has fallen across the metro Atlanta area and more is on the way Wednesday.
Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz says the clouds will stick around and there could be some localized flooding.
A Flood Watch remains in effect for the eastern half of the state through Friday night.
Here’s what to know as you head through the evening and into Wednesday.
- An additional 1-2 inches of rainfall are possible throughout the evening.
- Rain could stick around through the Thursday morning commute.
- Storms and rain could start back up in the afternoon Thursday.
