Freeze warning for parts of north Georgia overnight as temperatures plummet into 30s

Temperatures are set to plummet overnight Tuesday, with freeze warnings going into effect for parts of north Georgia,

Tuesday morning’s low is expected to be 38 degrees.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The coldest temperatures of the season are moving in overnight
  • A freeze warning is in effect from 2 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday morning
  • Subfreezing temperatures of around 30 are expected in north Georgia
  • Freeze warning includes Dade, Walker, Catoosa, Whitfield, Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Chattooga, Gordon, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin and White counites
