ATLANTA — Some parts of Georgia will see more showers and stormy conditions after a weekend of heavy rain and flooding.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz says a flood watch is in effect for most of north and west Georgia until 8 p.m. Monday.

Most showers and storms that develop Monday will be in parts that are already heavily saturated.
Chattooga and Floyd counties experienced the worst flooding on Sunday. Some areas saw at least 6-8 inches of rain dropped in the area.
Here’s what to know for Labor Day today:
- Flood Watch continues until 8 p.m. for much of north GA.
- Scattered thunderstorms could produce heavy rainfall and more localized flooding concerns.
- Flash Flood Warning for Rabun County in effect until 2:45 p.m. Monday.
- Showers/storms start to taper off overnight.
- Clouds and fogs possible Tuesday morning.
