More showers moving through today but end to rainy pattern is coming

Here is what to know as we head through Friday:

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 2 p.m. for eastern counties.
The heaviest showers are moving through southern and eastern areas.
There’s no sign of any cool fall air over the next several days. Temperatures will run well above average.
