Here is what to know as we head through Friday:

  • A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 2 p.m. for eastern counties.
  • The heaviest showers are moving through southern and eastern areas.
  • There’s no sign of any cool fall air over the next several days. Temperatures will run well above average.
