ATLANTA — Another round of possible severe storms are moving into north Georgia and metro Atlanta are moving in early Saturday morning.
Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz says most of northwest Georgia and metro Atlanta are under a Level 1 of 5 severe weather threat risk. Several counties, including Chattooga and parts of Gordon and Floyd, are under a Level 2 of 5 severe weather threat risk.

Nitz says storms will start moving into northwest Georgia and northwest portions of metro Atlanta between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The highest severe risk for thunderstorms and damaging winds will be between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m.
You can expect some heavy downpours the rest of the morning, but by the storms will be gone and skies cleared up by the afternoon.
