A storm with strong wind gusts, lighting and heavy rain is heading to northeast metro area around 55 mph.
There is hail in the storm near Forest Park and a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued. It is moving NE at 55 mph with strong wind gusts, lighting and heavy rain.

Damage in metro Atlanta
Crews were working to restore power in several areas of metro Atlanta after trees fell on power lines Saturday morning. Numerous crashes were reported on Atlanta highways on wet roads.
One tree fell on a mobile home in Lawrenceville, crushing both the home and a car. Luckily, no one was hurt.
