A few stray showers will be around Thursday, but be ready for the rain to ramp up Friday.
Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz is tracking a cold front that will bring rain to north Georgia on Friday.
Nitz says the rain will pick up after sunrise and become widespread throughout the day. The rain will start to move out by Friday night.
There is also a slight chance for storms, but any severe weather risk will stay well to our south.
