Monahan says it’s possible some areas will see 1-3 inches of rain. The rainfall could be good for some areas with how dry Atlanta has been since the beginning of September.
The rain may throw a wrench into some Friday plans across metro Atlanta. Marietta canceled its annual Veterans Day Parade.
“Our first priority is the safety of our Veterans, parade participants, and community; therefore, the parade and ceremony cannot continue under these conditions. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the parade, there is no reschedule date.
